Researchgeometric surface

The geometry at KSU is primarily centered around the mathematics arising from string theory. These are some of the research areas in geometry at KSU: algebraic geometry, differential geometry, global analysis, mirror symmetry, non-commutative geometry, symplectic geometry, tropical geometry.

The topology at KSU includes: algebraic topology, category theory, geometric topology, homotopy theories, low dimensional topology, topological quantum field theories, general topology.

The Geometry and Topology Research Groups interact closely with the Algebra Research Group.
