Applied mathematics research involves the application of mathematical principles and theories to problems arising in a wide variety of science, engineering, industrial and business contexts. Examples of applied mathematics research projects currently underway at K-State are described here.

Graduate Certificate in Applied Mathematics

The Mathematics Department at K-State offers a Graduate Certificate in Applied Mathematics. This 12-credit certificate provides graduate students with both essential training in computational and applied mathematics well as experience in applying this training to relevant problems in science and engineering disciplines.
