ALGEBRA QUAL SOLUTIONS
Here are just a few solutions that I typed up sometime in December
2005 or January 2006, while preparing for
the algebra qualifying exam.
Perhaps these solutions can help someone else studying for their "quals"
or "prelims." In most of these solutions I did not write down what the
problem was, but that's alright because you can easily download the
