Prerequisites: MATH 101-3 (corequisite MATH 220-3).
Course Outline: We will cover roughly the material in
Chapters 11,12,13 and 14 of Stewart's book.
Grading Scheme
There will assignments (potentially weekly) worth 15%,
two mid-terms (Wednesday October 13, November 17) worth 45%
and a final
exam
worth 40%.
We reserve the right to change the weight of any portion
of this marking scheme (although if changes are made your
grade will be calculated using the original weighting and the new weighting
and you will be given the higher of the two).
Assignments
Write on only one side
of the paper and staple all pages together.
On the the first page summarise your answers
with no working (show your working on the subsequent pages).
Include a cover sheet with your name, the course number and date.
You will generally have about a week to complete the assignment.
