FUN PROBLEMS

1. Everybody knows that square-root of two to the power two is equal to two. Are there any other numbers X so that square-root two to the power of X is equal to X? Show that there is a unique number X stricly greater than 2 with this property. (Hint: Compute the slope of the tangent...).
