Mon Feb 5: Exam 1 is Tuesday (Feb 6) evening 7:15-8:15pm!
Thurs Feb 1:
i) Make sure you know your Exam Room and its location (remember exam rooms are by recitation instructor).
ii) Bring your photo I.D. and your calculator to the test. No notes or books allowed during the exam.
iii) Exam starts at 7:15pm (arrive in time to be seated etc) and lasts 1hour.
iv) Help sessions run 3:30-6:30pm in CW145. Make sure you can work the sample exams.
v) Students with DSS approved special accommodations requiring extra time should inform the coordinator Chris Pinner and make arrangements to take the test through DSS.
The Final Exam day (May 9) is a Wednesday (not Tuesday as stated on the syllabus)!
Thurs Jan 25:
i) Make sure you know your Exam Room and its location. Exam rooms are by recitation instructor (not lecturer).
ii) Two sample exams for exam 1 are now available.
iii) If you are on the wait list for a recitation you can ask the recitation instructor to sign you into the class (this is not done automatically).
Mon Jan 22: Help sessions started today.
Thurs Jan 18: The first homework is due 6pm tonight. Put your homework in the homework box (located
on the left as you enter through the front entrance of Cardwell) of your recitation instructor (not your lecturer).
Most recitation instructors have more than one section so make sure that you put it in the correct box.
If you know the time and room (or section number) for your recitation then your recitation instructor's name can be found from the course list.

You may attend a different lecture section (without re-enrolling) as long as there are adequate seats, but you must enroll in the recitation section that you attend (and take tests with). Assuming that you know your recitation section then your recitation instructor's name can now be obtained from recitation instructor list (this is a preliminary list and subject to change) and phone number/email address/office hours from contact info. Recitations start tomorrow
Jan 8: Classes start Thursday Jan 11. Make sure you have read the syllabus.
Monday Jan 15 is a holiday (Monday recitations might want to attend one of the Friday Jan 12 recitations for help with HW1).
