Old Notices & Updates:
Make-up lectureFor those who had no lecture on Thursday (Jan 31) I have scheduled an optional make-up lecture Monday evening 9pm (Feb 4) in Cardwell 101.
Reminder: Prof. Burckel's lecture notes for the missing lecture are also available on reserve and online (see below).
Homework 3 is unaffected by the cancelled Thursday morning lectures (still all due 2/5).
Homework 2 is due Tuesday January 29 (not 2/29 as it said on the original syllabus).
Homework 1 has been cancelled because
of problems with the homework boxes. The homework will now be
out of 100 points. Don't throw your homework away - your recitation instructor
may be planning to give you recitation credit for it!
