Putnam Exam solutions usually appear on the sci.math newsgroup in December, in the Mathematics Magazine in April, and in the American Mathematical Monthly in October or November. Problems and solutions for the 1938 - 1964 and 1965 - 1984 Putnam Competitions have been published by the Mathematical Association of America, but are now out of print. Kansas State students may see Dr. Muenzenberger in Cardwell 138 for other sources of mathematics competition problems.
