Financial Support
Financial support is offered on a first-come first-served basis.
Travel support is offered on the basis of reimbursement. International participants, please look at the NSF air carrier rules and check with the conference organizers before buying your plane ticket. The conference will be able to provide partial travel support. The exact meaning of "partial support" will depend on the final number of supported participants. Full travel support is granted if a) the participant is a student; b) she/he is willing to share a hotel room with another participant, c) the cost of the ticket is reasonable, i.e. coach class, economy; d) the ticket is issued by an US-flag carrier.
Once you book your flight, please provide us with your flight arrival/departure information as requested in the registration form, so that we can make a hotel reservation for you and coordinate ground transportation (e.g. car rentals), etc. We can only reserve a hotel room for you after receiving your flight arrival/departure details.
Participants (students specially) are encouraged to share a hotel room with one other participant (all rooms have two queen-size beds). Sharing rooms means more travel support for more participants. Please specify your room sharing preferences in the registration form under "Extra Information". The conference will make the necessary room arrangements & reservation for you (if you request that in the registration form and if you give us long enough time notice). Please be aware that the number of rooms available at the Holiday Inn is very limited.
A letter of confirmation of support will be sent to participants on an individual basis.
