| The I-Center Undergraduate Scholars for 2007 are Alyson Deines, senior in Mathematics, Joelyn Foy, senior in Mathematics, and Ashley Wheeler, senior in Mathematics and Physics. Alyson Deines and Joelyn Foy are engaged in the research project Parameter Estimation in a Pharmacokinetic Model, and their research mentor is Professor Dave Auckly from the Department of Mathematics at K-State. Ashley Wheeler's research mentor is Professor Ricardo Castano-Bernard from the Department of Mathematics at K-State, and her research topic is Symplectic Topology of Hamiltonian Systems with One Degree of Freedom. |
