News Details

April 2008 : John McCuan to give mini course on the mathematics of soap bubbles.
John McCuan is a recognized leader in the mathematics of CMC surfaces. These surfaces are usually found as the border between two different fluid media and in soap films. He is visiting the department for two weeks in April 2008.

This one credit class is designed for advanced undergraduate and all graduate students. It is the first I-center mini course. The class times and rooms are:
