Goldwater Scholarship Program National Summary 1989-2009

Among the 2,000 public and private four year colleges and universities in the United States, only 10 have had 53 or more Goldwater Scholars.

Among all public schools, Kansas State University is 1st in the nation with 64 Goldwater Scholars since 1989.

Kansas State mathematics majors won 26 of these Goldwater Scholarships.

Among all schools (public and private), K-State is 3rd in the nation in the number of Goldwater Scholars since 1989.
