Money
The figures on this page are for the 2006 program. This REU will give each student a $400.00 travel allowance and a $1,300.00 allowance for room and board. A double occupancy room in a residence hall with a 10 meals per week meal plan cost $1,280.00 in 2005. There are other plans available. Details will appear in the Housing contract (check to be sure that iit is current.) We encourage participants to stay in the residence hall, but participants may make any living arrangements they wish for the program. In addition, each participant will have $400.00 to spend on flight instruction and will receive a $2,400.00 stipend.
