MATH 499C   Mathematical World Lines

Dr. Roger Cooke from the University of Vermont will give an undergraduate mini-course on Mathematical World Lines in the Fall semester of 1997. The five lecture titles are: Numbers; Geometry; Algebra; The Calculus; Logic and Set Theory. The class will meet at 4:30 pm during the week of September 29 - October 3. Anyone interested is welcome to attend. Undergraduates wanting to take this course and Stan Gudder's Problems in Probability minicourse for one credit of MATH 499 should ask Deb Webb in the mathematics department for a course section permit.
