V. Fredrick Rickey

Fred Rickey, Professor of Mathematics at the US Military Academy and Distinguished Teaching Professor Emeritus at Bowling Green State University, has broad interests in the history of mathematics and is especially interested in the development of the calculus. Professor Rickey was the first editor of electronic services for the MAA and built its first gopher and web site. Professor Rickey has received the MAA award for Distinguished College or University Teaching and the MAA George Polya award for Mathematical Exposition.
