Graduate students working in algebra and representation theory are invited to participate in the The 3rd Graduate Research Conference, hosted by Department of Mathematics at Kansas State University. The conference will feature invited lectures given by experts in algebra and representation theory and 20-min / 40-min talks by graduate students. Flying Option: Fly into Manhattan (MHK). The official hotel of the conference provides free shuttle to Manhattan airport or a short taxi ride will take you to campus. Flights into MHK connect through Chicago and Dallas. Please book your ticket well in advance to guarantee availability and a good price. Connecting flights into Manhattan Regional Airport are operated by American Airlines.
Flying/Driving Option: Fly into Kansas City International (MCI) and either rent a car (2 hours easy drive, see driving directions) or take the KCI Roadrunner.
Driving: Manhattan is located 120 miles West of Kansas City, MO and 135 miles South of Lincoln, NE. The interstate I-70 will take you to Manhattan from Kansas City, and US 77 from Linclon. Maps and driving instructions can be found at Google Maps. Additionally, a map of campus can be found here
During the conference the participants will be offered shared double rooms in the Holiday Inn on Campus located at 1641 Anderson St. More information can be found at the hotel website. Complimentary shuttle from local airport to the hotel is available (call 1-785-539-7531).
